With a background in environmental science and sustainable development, Alessandra has spent the last seven years campaigning for Green Schools Runs on a number of different projects. She lives in North London with her husband and three school-age children, who remind her every day of the importance of giving our children a safe and healthy school run.

With a background in policy and education, Francesca co-ordinates the charity's activities and liaises with Camden Council and other community stakeholders.

She has lived in London for 10 years and is passionate about promoting active travel to school through community engagement and climate action.

Having worked in Hampstead schools for over fifteen years, and with direct access to the voice of pupils and parents, Penelope puts GSR's work into action in the school environment.
